What Information Do We Collect?
We collect information about you when you make an inquiry to employ our services e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address etc. The information provided may be checked against publicly available records to validate its accuracy (i.e. miss-spellings in email addresses, or miss-typed business phone numbers etc.) and where additional information is required as part of our Sales Cycle (i.e. Financial Information or Credit Information etc.)
How Will We Use the Information About You?
We will collect information about you as part of our sales cycle to produce an invoice, quotation etc. and this will be kept in accordance with the requirements of maintaining appropriate financial records for trading under UK law. We may also use contact information to inform you of relevant security information that we are made aware of e.g. alerts of new viruses or malware that may arise.
We use both explicit consent and Legitimate Interest, as specified under GDPR as methods for contacting businesses and individuals who we feel would benefit from our products and services. Where explicit consent in not available, we will carry out a Legitimate Interest Assessment, so we ensure that we balance the interest of our organisation again the individuals interest.
In short, we use any data we hold to contact people we believe will have an interest in our solutions via email, phone and direct mail.
However, we absolutely respect an individual’s desire to remove their consent from our marketing activities or their personal data from our records entirely.
